Hi! I'm Aroonav. At Aakash Technical Innovation Lab, I work on technical architecture, frontend infrastructure, AWS systems, and reliability engineering. Eight years primarily in frontend, with strong backend (Go) and infrastructure experience, make me comfortable working at any layer of the stack. I also lead a small team, though I stay close to the technical work.

I have recently worked through the The Rust Book and am now working on implementing an LLM from scratch to explore Rust and transformer internals in depth.

Outside work, I learn about resource optimization while running a homelab on a Raspberry Pi NAS (4GB RAM + OMV + Tailnet). The rest of the time goes into family, books, manga (One Piece, Fullmetal Alchemist are favorites), and movies.
